Rosa appears as a sophisticated and affluent woman, but behind her elegant façade lies a deeply disturbed and obsessive mind. Consumed by resentment, she becomes determined to exact a calculated revenge on her estranged daughter Maria, a successful actress newly engaged to her handsome co-star, Ben King. Seizing the opportunity, Rosa invites the couple to spend a weekend at her home. Despite her initial suspicions, Maria is disarmed by what seems like a genuine change in her mother’s demeanor. However, Rosa’s darker intentions soon begin to surface, and as the visit unfolds, her carefully orchestrated scheme of manipulation and cruelty escalates toward shocking and irreversible consequences.
